Effective: January 1, 2011
Determine a best estimate of income using the income the household expects to receive during the certification period.
Exception:
At renewal only, CHIP households with no other program open who opt to use their Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) provided through the Utah State Tax Commission interface, will use the most recent tax year’s income. (See section 704-9.)
Annualize all income whether it is received on a regular basis, seasonally, under contract, by commission, or received at irregular intervals throughout the year.
